Car accident in Connecticut takes the life of passenger

Firm News On Friday, June 28, 2013

When a car accident takes the life of a loved one in New Haven, there is little that can console the family. They typically have quite a few questions to which there is usually no answers. How did this happen? Why did it happen? Who was at fault for the accident?

These are probably a few of the questions running through the minds of the family of a passenger who was killed in a car accident in Connecticut recently. Authorities are still looking into the cause of the collision, and have not released details of the person who was killed. People who were on the scene believed the deceased to be a female.

The fatal accident occurred when a 16-year-old driving a Ford pickup truck attempted to turn left into an entrance. Another vehicle, a Hyundai driven by a 20-year-old man, crashed into the pickup truck. The Hyundai carried at least five people, including the driver. Three of the passengers had to be removed from the car by fire fighters; one was helped out of the car by people who witnessed the accident.

It is not known what injuries, if any, the other passengers sustained in the accident. The pickup truck’s driver was apparently okay.

The family of the person who died in this crash may wish to speak with an attorney about their case. By filing a wrongful death suit against the person responsible for the accident, they may be able to receive answers to their questions along with being compensated for their loved one’s medical and funeral expenses.
